Talking with Young People about Sexuality
If your organisation is responsible for the care of young people, it is very likely that you are responsible to provide a reasonable level of sexuality education to your clients. Talking about sex and sexuality can be difficult for many parents let alone talking with youth who are not related to you and who are likely to have experiences of trauma. If you find yourself confused about oversharing or not sharing enough or worry about initiating a potentially awkward conversation or fearful of re-traumatising the client, you are not alone. This training can help you feel clearer and more confident about how to approach this topic.
